What to Expect at Saint John's

When you come to Saint John’s, you can expect to be welcomed into a friendly, positive environment by people who are genuinely excited to see you. Our gatherings last about an hour, are filled with great music, and include inspiring messages from the Bible.

FAQs

You’ll find everything from casual clothes to business suits at our worship gatherings. Saint John’s is not about what you look like or what you wear. Dress in what is comfortable for you!

We have lots on either side of the church and you are welcome to park anywhere! We’ve got friendly people ready to greet you or provide information on where to go next. You’ll also see a way-finding map inside most red doors with directions to the nursery, Children’s Chapel and worship space. And if you have a special accommodations request, our Ushers are happy to help!

Yes!

Our nursery opens at 9:00am for infants to four year olds. Our goal is to allow children to have a safe environment to play in, and to also help them grow in understanding of God’s love.

Our Children's Chapel is also starts at 9:00am for kids from 5-11. During Children's Chapel, kids learn to worship God and participate in the liturgy. We bring the kids back into the sancturay to finish the service with their parents.

At Saint John’s, you have quite a few opportunities to experience the beauty and depth of traditional Anglican liturgy throughout the week.

Our 8:00 am Holy Eucharist on Sundays is a quiet, contemplative spoken service—perfect for those seeking a peaceful start to the day. At 10:00 am, our Choral Holy Eucharist features the full choir and a family-friendly atmosphere. On Sunday evenings at 5:30 pm, our Choral Evensong offers a moving and reflective way to begin your week, showcasing the richness of Anglican liturgy and sacred music.

In addition to our Sunday gatherings, we offer a Wednesday evening Holy Eucharist at 5:30pm—a midweek opportunity to pause, pray, and be nourished at the Lord’s Table.

Each service lasts about an hour and, while our liturgy may shift with the seasons, you’ll always find a place to encounter God through timeless prayers, uplifting music, and thoughtful preaching.

For those seeking a more intimate setting, the Daily Office is offered weekdays at 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.—a quiet time for prayer and reflection rooted in the rhythms of the church.

Whether you’re new to the Episcopal tradition or a lifelong member, our services are a wonderful way to connect with God and one another through worship, music, and the Word.
