The Choristers Program at Saint John’s invites children and youth to discover the joy of singing and the beauty of worship through music. Open to all school-aged children, this ministry provides a welcoming environment where young voices are nurtured and celebrated, regardless of prior musical experience.
Our ministry focuses on:
-
: Teaching the fundamentals of singing, music theory, and choral technique in a supportive, age-appropriate setting
-
: Leading the congregation in worship by singing anthems, hymns, and service music during Sunday services and special events
-
: Deepening understanding of the liturgy and the role of music in expressing and shaping our faith
-
: Fostering friendships and teamwork through shared rehearsals, performances, and fun activities
The Choristers Program is designed to inspire a lifelong love of music and worship, helping each child grow in confidence, skill, and faith. Whether new to singing or already experienced, every chorister finds encouragement, mentorship, and a place to belong.
