The Daughters of the King is a vibrant ministry at Saint John’s, uniting women who are devoted to a life of prayer, service, and evangelism within the Anglican tradition. As members of a worldwide order, Daughters reaffirm their baptismal vows and commit to supporting one another and the parish through spiritual growth and active service.

Our ministry focuses on:

  • : Upholding a daily discipline of prayer for the church, its clergy, and the needs of the world

  • : Assisting with parish ministries and outreach, offering loyal support to clergy and the wider church community

  • : Sharing the love and message of Christ through word and action, striving to extend Christ’s Kingdom

  • : Building lasting relationships among members through regular gatherings, mutual encouragement, and shared mission

Daughters of the King gather regularly for prayer, study, and planning service projects that benefit both Saint John’s and the greater Tulsa community. Rooted in the Anglican tradition, the Order welcomes women from Episcopal, Anglican, Lutheran, and Roman Catholic backgrounds who seek to deepen their faith and serve others.

The Daughters’ mission is clear: to know Jesus Christ, to make Him known to others, and to reflect God’s love in the world. Guided by the Holy Spirit and united by their Rule of Prayer and Rule of Service, members wear the cross of the Order as a sign of their commitment.
