The choir at Saint John's is a cornerstone of our parish’s liturgical life, offering musical excellence to help our worship. Open to singers of all skill levels, the choir leads congregational song, performs sacred choral works, and really brings a spiritual richness to our services.
Our ministry is rooted in:
-
Musical Excellence: We rehearse weekly to prepare anthems, hymns, and service music that reflect the breadth Christian worship—from ancient plainsong to Anglican hymns.
-
Liturgical Leadership: The choir serves as a prayerful leader during our 10 am Choral Eucharist, weekly Choral Evensongs, and special liturgies throughout the year.
-
Community: A diverse group of voices united in purpose, the choir fosters fellowship, mutual encouragement, and joy in shared ministry.
